What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Compiled NMEAJGP (after upconverting the project to be compatible with 
VS2010 Express)
2. Ran nodeManager
3. Ran NMEAJGP and it crashed immediately. 


What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected NMEAJGP to appear on the nodeManager start routing my NMEA0183 stream

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Running from a source checkout today.
O/S : Windows XP 

Please provide any additional information below.

Debugging it seems to get caught on the following method in main()
logger::Logger::initialize("main");

Tracing into initialize the following method causes the hang up;
theLogger->myLogger = new 
log4cplus::Logger(log4cplus::Logger::getInstance(name));

Also tried updating log4cplus from rc10 to rc11, but then started having 
trouble with methods nolonger being available (i.e. getInstance and forcedlog).
