KDN, a US 501(c)(3) non-profit founded on March 24, 2001 in Maryland, aims to address the environmental, social, and economic challenges faced by the Kambata population in Southern Ethiopia. The organization focuses on combating famine, poverty, youth unemployment, adult illiteracy, gender discrimination, environmental degradation, and HIV/AIDS.
