Hi Jelger, would it be possible to add On/Off/Toggle + Brightness functionality for the Ceiling Light 650 ambilight? (ceiling4 I guess). There is no way how to operate the color led stripe on this lamp. Also along with the appropriate Flows to trigger. Many thanks apprecite an effort.

Bis een flow dimt de Yeelight YLDP12YL niet. Hij schakelt alleen aan en uit. Via apparaten kan ik de lamp wel dimmen.

I have a bulb that is set to come on at sunset to a random colour
It will work fine 5 or 6 times then just gets stuck on white when set random colour in a flow is triggered.
I can set a colour manually fine, or specify a single colour in a flow.

The flow is just
-at sunset then...
-turn light on
-set random colour

Setting a relative dim broke the flow as well.

since a week or 3, i cannot control the yeelight by homey.

Nothing is changed, i allready reinstall de app / ledstrip in homey.
What i saw is when i remotly set the strip on i see in de homey status to on, en vice versa.
i cannot switch it on of off by homey

I am using the Yeelight screen light bar pro which has a front CCT screenbar and an RGB backlight. The CCT light is controlable via Homey however the RGB backlight does not pop up as separate device. Via the Xiaomi home and the Yeelight app the RGB backlight is controllable. Maybe there is an separate http command or API command which you could use for the RGB backlighting.

i am interested in the yeelight Screenbar pro as it seems that it might work with homey thanks to this app. That would allow to use fibaro light sensors and the like toncontrol the bar. Can you confirm that it should work? Sorry for the question but I did not find the model listed anywhere…

Hello. I have bought 34 of these GU10 Yeelights bulbs. I was able to add them to the Yeelight app and they are working fine. However the I have tried adding them to the homey Yeelight app without success. Can you please assist? See image

When set to negative value, like “-20%”, turns the bulb off completely instead of dimming.

Ik heb 5 Xiaomi plafondlampen, deze werken veelal goed via jouw app op de homey echter gaan ze soms ineens onverklaarbaar op offline. De lampen werken dan nog gewoon via de mi home app en via de yeelight app, echter dus niet via homey meer.

Pas als ik de stroom van de lamp heb gehaald en daarna weer terug er op zet dan werken ze weer, en dan ook gewoon per direct. Soms komt dit probleem één of enkele weken niet voor en soms zijn het meerdere lampen in 1 keer. Eerst dacht ik dat het mogelijk een verbindingsprobleem was, maar via mi home en yeelight werken de lampen nog gewoon...

Is dit iets waarmee jij mij mogelijk zou kunnen helpen?

All Yeelight lamps are disconnected and nothing has been touched in Homey.
No update of the app has been done and no update of the Homey has been done.
Reboot of the app and Homey has been done but still not able to connect to devices.

For information, I'm still able to control devices from Yeelight app.
What else can be done ?

I re-installed the app as it wasn't responding and now I cannot re-connect the lights...

They are visible in the original app and the LAN control is open.

Hi. Is it possible to make different icons for different devices? I have a chandelier and two table lamps, and the icon is the same everywhere (chandelier). It looks pretty strange.

After the last update I am not able to set temperature on my Yeelight Lightstrip plus.
when setting a temperature via a flow I get “device is not defined”.

Dim straight to the set level ignoring the duration parameter not allowing gradual fadein/fadeout.
