We should add sections for Arch and Darwin at a minimum.

Currently the header info (sample rate, channels, etc) are all pulled from 
magic code which I "borrowed" from libavcodec's mp3 support. There is some way 
of course to glean this data in a more generic manner, but I'll be buggered if 
I could figure it out. Need to go trolling through ffmpeg.c one more time to 
figure out how/where it happens and clone that code.

Seems like building portaudio doesn't install a pkg-config file. Probably the 
solution is to create architecturally-dependent build flags, because the 
simple, -lportaudio, does not work for Darwin, needs a whole mess of other 
frameworks to work.
