create-svelte

Everything you need to build a Svelte project, powered by create-svelte.

Creating a project

If you're seeing this, you've probably already done this step. Congrats!

# create a new project in the current directory
npm create svelte@latest

# create a new project in my-app
npm create svelte@latest my-app

Developing

Once you've created a project and installed dependencies with npm install (or pnpm install or yarn), start a development server:

npm run dev

# or start the server and open the app in a new browser tab
npm run dev -- --open

Building

To create a production version of your app:

npm run build

You can preview the production build with npm run preview.

To deploy your app, you may need to install an adapter for your target environment.

jessyco-website-svelte's Issues

Blog posts should support multiple author in code and design

I would like the ability to have multiple authors be credited on posts. This should work in markdown like you would normally write any kind of list/array and the design should show it as well.

We'll lead with an assumption that the first person in the list is the key author for the written material and any following are the editors or contributors to it.

This could be broken down later to transform the "author" section into separate sections if more detail is needed but for now let's keep it simple by just using the author field.

Add sitemap.xml

By adding a sitemap it can help search engines learn about the structure and content of the website.

SEO should generate proper visuals for social media platforms

I want to have the SEO work when sharing links on social media platforms and chat programs.

Currently, the information shows the default page's SEO and does not render the specific blog posts.

There's a 206 HTTP status happening. However, using validation tools it shows correctly. This is a result of how the svelte page is put together.

There are some possible solutions provided by some Reddit users which might provide a solution.
