Could you tag your releases and make the changelog directly visible in your GitHub releases? This would increase transparency for potential users and distribution maintainers. Something like https://skywinder.github.io/github-changelog-generator/ could be used to generate the changelog based on merged PRs and closed issues since the last release tag.

Silay is getting prayer times but confused between AM/PM format, so the indicator is printing the time left incorrectly .

Trying to open Settings from the indicator brings up the following errors:

silaty-indicator.py did not recognize locale setting on first run. Debian Jessie, gnome 3.14.1.

Adding locale setting that's available with dpkg-reconfigure locale to line 13 cleared it.

locale.setlocale(locale.LC_ALL, 'en_IN.UTF-8')

I was wondering if you needed help translating the app to other languages, I can do French and Spanish if you want.

I have rarely coded in python, so that's why I can't help you right now in codes.
The problem here goes in the Hijri date, even with that Algorithm it sometimes goes wrong for example by one day missing.

I think adding the option for that day in the options menu will help a lot.

Could you add screenshots here on GitHub to get an idea how your software looks like?

I'm using red hat enterprise linux 8. It doesn't have any of the dependencies, and snap is too heavy to use.

It would be great to have an appimage version of this.

I have installed the latest version on ubuntu 20.04 using the Debian package but every time I try starting the application i am getting the spinning wheel for a while and but the application GUI never shows up. I know the application is running and I get notification of the prayer times but I cannot see the GUI thus I cannot edit any of the settings to fit my location\timezone.

I have tried installing it through snap but I get the exact same behavior.
