lol really? I expected having to hack something in the artwork downloader add-on or something :D
Never knew this existed, cheers!
The whole system behind the different art types is quite unclear. There's different ways to assign different types of artwork, it's a bit of a mess if you ask me.
I wish Kodi would just include scraping the different art types in the core, removing the need for artwork downloader add-ons. I'm a fan of integration and streamlining :)
Anyway, I digress... Your tip should make it easy for me to add and test this, cheers 👍

I could be wrong, but I don't think Kodi or Artwork Downloader natively supports logos for sets. How would you choose them, as sets don't have an information screen?
I see the skinhelper service has support for it, and I just coded it in (not on Git) but then nothing is showing either. Do you have experience using logos for sets in another skin?

Yes, in the default skin as well as reFocus. You press C on the set, Manage, Choose Art, and select a logo. I have logos assigned to the 100+ sets in my library, and they display in reFocus and Estuary.

Do you use a separate add-on for that? Because when I choose Manage, Choose Art on the set I can only choose Poster or Fanart. And Artwork Downloader's settings window doesn't show any options for sets.
I don't really use group in sets so I don't know much about using it.

I don't use a plugin, but I do believe I had to add clearlogo as an artwork type under the Choose Art menu when I first created the library. It's not there by default.
All of the set logos I have I've downloaded from fanart.tv manually.

can you tell me how you added it? what filename do they use? Do the movies in the collection have to be in different subfolders for this to work?

Sure. On the movie set hit Context Menu, Manage..., Choose Art, press right to the cloud with the arrow coming down, enter, type "clearlogo" and hit done.

I name all of the logos setlogo.png, but if fanart.tv doesnt have a collection logo, I may just use the logo.png file. I always have to choose the logo manually, as it's never been clear to me how to get Kodi to find it on it's own.

I don't know how the folder structure needs to be, but I have top level folders called DVD and Blu-ray and inside those folders I have individual folders for each movie. If the movie is part of a set, I download setlogo.png, setart.jpg, and setposter.jpg files to the folder for the first movie in the set.

I have had installs of Kodi where I've had to add "clearlogo" for regular movies and TV shows in addition to sets. I still don't understand why you have to run Artwork Downloader if you have local logo.png files, when, since Kodi automatically picks up local poster and fanart files, it seems like it should be trivial to program Kodi to pick up the logo file as well. But, I made the mistake of requesting that on the forum once and got the run around and then more or less called an idiot.
