jclock's Introduction

jClock

jClock is a console-based mock up of Clock mobile application.

Getting Started

At the start of the program, the user will be shown a list of features jClock has. In order to start a feature, the user has to select a feature by pressing the corresponding number.

Menu: Type in the number of feature to use
(1)	Digital Time
(2)	Stopwatch
(3)	Set Alarm

For example, if the user wants to use the stopwatch feature, he/she has to press key '2' in order to start the stopwatch feature.

Features

  • Digital Time
  • Simply displays the current system time.

    <li>Stopwatch</li>
<p>The key 's' will be pressed to start and stop the stopwatch. This feature records the time elapsed from the moment the user chose to start the
stopwatch until the user chose to stop it. Once the stopwatch is stopped, the time elapsed will be then displayed in the console.</p>

    <li>Alarm Clock</li>
<p>The user will be asked to input a specific time format (hour:minute:secondMeridiem) as a reference time for the alarm clock. Once the time inputted
is the same with the system time (the Digital Time feature), the console will display the string "Alarm!" to notify the user.

jclock's Issues

Requirement for presentation

  1. Include a readme.md document similar to this: https://github.com/chipunzalan/GoFish-CIE123/blob/final-release/GoFish/README.md

Explain in simple, non-technical terms your project and how a beginner user can use your software. Include a step-by-step process.

  2. Officially tag your final release as a "Release version 1.0". Look for the Releases tab in your github and tag this branch as "v1.0"

  3. Once you are done with the 2 requirements above, you may present your work on Friday 1:30-2:30pm. Just an informal presentation/demo of your working software.
