Thanks to your instructions I was able to set up my local environment, but I'm still having one issue:
I am lacking a user, that has sufficient permissions to do anything. The one created by python manage.py createsuperuser doesn't seem to have any permissions (indicated by the lack of items in the sidebar). So far, my tries in creating a user with the django shell were unsuccessful as well. Is there any (simple) way to create a user that has all permissions?

it would be nice for reasons of data pretection/data sec and convenience, if it would be possible to view documents that have been uploaded to a record inside the app/browser without making a local copy of them.

Some of our members can't register their accounts because they get the error message "email already in use" even though it isn't

Sometimes after accepting a new user to the org they are immediately flagged as inactive and you have to got to "Inactive Users" and manually activate them

I'm currently trying to setup your application locally to get a look at how it works, but I'm struggling a bit. I installed VS Code, Python, etc. and got the project running in/with django. The problem is I can only access /admin and /api; all other sites are are just a blank page (the one in static/index.html). Am I simply not finding the right URL to access the application or did I mess up the django installation/settings?
My experience with python and django in particular are very limited, so it's not really obvious to me how to go about setting this all up. It would be useful if there were some simple instructions on how to setup the application in your wiki.

it is not possible to edit the record token after creating a record. There is no option to do so, when editing a record. This is pretty inconvenient if you have typo in the token or you have to change it for some other reason
