direct download link not found about youtube-downloader HOT 4 CLOSED

Download url will keeps on changing. Is the download link not working? If it is then please share the link. Let me check it.

If it works on localhost, but not on your server, you'll need to use the proxy links. In the config file, enable proxy and use those links to download.

YouTube checks to the signature of the machine doing the downloading - if your server can reach youtube over IPv6, that seems to bypass that checking.

So, on some servers direct links work, on others they do not. Proxy should always work, but of course leverages the server bandwidth more.

@jeckman i can't use the proxy links, the webhost that i use forbid me to create a proxy server. Thanks for explaining, anyway

widiarifki - no need to create a proxy server, the proxy is built in to the script - but if they won't allow you to open external urls (fopen/curl) the whole thing will fail anyway.

If your server connects to youtube over ipv4 you may have problems. On my server connecting over ipv6, I can use the direct download links without a problem, at least for now.
