Python exceptions are currently not properly handled. They should be handled in such a way that a user doesn't have to look at the console logs to see the error.

The interface doesn't scale properly on mobile.

• Use "super" wheel (wheel that includes other wheels)
• Reduce size of OTIO wheel. I have a feeling building in RelWithDebInfo instead of Debug might help. Or is there another way to not have cmake run strip?
• Use a webworker?
• Set fullStdLib to false when calling loadPyodide: https://pyodide.org/en/stable/usage/api/js-api.html?#globalThis.loadPyodide.

It is useless to re-compile the wheel when only changing the README or the UI.

It's important to be able to see the OTIO version used.

When running make (https://github.com/JeanChristopheMorinPerso/otio-wasm/blob/main/.github/workflows/deploy.yaml#L36), we could probably set PYODIDE_PACKAGES to an empty list. See https://pyodide.org/en/latest/development/building-from-sources.html#partial-builds. I could simply just dun PYODIDE_PACKAGES=opentimelineio make.

Also, why is cmake spending so much time at the check step (https://github.com/JeanChristopheMorinPerso/otio-wasm/runs/6840255883?check_suite_focus=true#step:7:282) ?

Add a scheduled workflow that would check the last commit in OTIO and would see if it needs to be built or not.

Right now I need to do it manually.

Right now the SVG isn't zoomable on desktop but it is on mobile...
