I'll translate the content this afternoon and create a PR for you to review the translation.

Our website suffers from poor scrolling performance. In the original theme (Codeon) we use, there are sections with parallaxing backgrounds. Even though we removed these backgrounds, the parallax action still happens (it simply parallaxes nothing), and the CSS is still there. Because of this, the whole page redraws every time we scroll. We should remove the parallax bits of the website to improve performance.

I originally thought poor performance was caused by using too many animations (#22), when in fact, it's caused by the constant repainting of the page.

Also, the issue can be reproduced on Firefox and Chrome. MS Edge looks fine (silky smooth scrolling, yay!).

We shouldn't have useless Xs at the end.

The carousel of famous quotes should auto-rotate.

For a first-time visitor on the site, it's unclear that they should click the logo or scroll down to see the website. The original theme (Codeon) has a button, which clearly tells the user to click it and go somewhere. It's not the case on our website. We could replace the huge logo with a photo banner, or just add a button to tell the user he has to do something.

According to @Sytten, the FB link should be more visible and slack should be smaller and with the others.

As the website is only client-side, we can't use the current PHP script.
We should instead use Formspree to send our emails until we have a proper server.

When clicking on "Partners" in the top navigation bar, it links to the "Sponsoring Plans" section, which technically, is the right place (the <a> links there), but logically, it's not. We could simply move the id to the right place.

Thanks for the reordering. We should ask @Sytten to see if we could have another element for the i7. I don't like the fact that i5 has 5 elements and i7 has 4 and a x at the end. It's just about the presentation.

Even though our website's a static one-pager, we could add SSL support using Cloudflare's free SSL certificates. I did for my personal website, also hosted on GitHub Pages with a custom domain. Here are instructions on how to do it:

There's one drawback, though (still, it's a lot better than not having SSL):

the connection between CloudFlare and GitHub pages is not secured. Since GitHub doesn’t have a SSL certificate for your domain, Full SSL is not possible with a custom domain.

We need two small modifications (to be confirmed):
-Add an exception to the I7 plan (internal events except the JDIS conference)
-Add a precision for the Xenon plan (invitation to the conference with the advantages of the 500$ plan)

Are the CSS animations really necessary? It seems to me that they just slow down the website without really adding value. It really doesn't feel snappy, especially on mobile. How about we remove them?
