Comments on post "Signing PGP Keys"
First, you article doesn't mention how to pull down from the key server, I found this in another article, might be worth adding for others
$ gpg --keyserver <keyserver> --recv-keys <Key_ID>
Second, you say that the following line should create a new file, though it only prints to stdout
$ gpg --decrypt someone_at_example.com.asc.pgp
Should it be something like this instead?
$ gpg --decrypt someone_at_example.com.asc.pgp > someone_at_example.com.asc
Second, is there any risk to keeping these encrypted/decrypted signed keys lying around on my file system or should I delete them as soon as they are in my keychain and pushed to the server? In that case, would something like this be a better idea?
$ gpg --decrypt someone_at_example.com.asc.pgp | gpg --import
Thanks @frasmage
