arduheater's Issues

(Feature-) Request about heating control - stay above minimum temperature (anti-freezing)

Hi João,
thanks for this great project.
For the rain sensors of my weather station I am looking for a heating control. The arduheater hardware fits perfect, as I need 4 channels.
One dew heating channel for the rain sensing sensor and three heating channels for keeping the temperature above freezing.
Is there already something build in, to keep the temperature stable above a given adjustable minimum temperature, for example 3°C? If no, do you think this would be a big effort? At which source part would you implement this?
Many thanks
Markus

Add optional support for SH1106 OLED

While designing an enclosure for my Adruheater, I designed an alternative cover that includes mounting space for a SH1106 OLED display. The I2C pins on the Nano are A5 & A4, which your conveniently not using, and I simply added connection to A4/A5 and 3.3v/GND connections. pretty simple.

My thinking was it would be nice to have the display show current temp/humidity/dew point and channel status.

Testing Arduheater

I have completed the build of the Arduheater.
I made a connector with led indicator for the 12V. But when i put the USB arduino to the computer the led indicator is turned on.
So somehow the usb is feeding the 12V connector. That can not be right. Futher i'am still waiting for the NTC sensor, so the are not connected at this time. Can this be causing this? How do i test if everthing is working? can you give me direction. I have a multimeter to check voltage i you give me directions

Peter

Feature Request: automatic mode with no computer required.

It would be nice to have the Arduheater go into an automatic mode after a per-determined amount of time after you power the unit on. This would be very handy in some situations when I don't want to bring the heavy laptop into the field.

Outdated readme?

According to the PCB schematics I can see that it says "DHT22", while in the components list states "AM2320", though I'm not sure how different they are..

I believe you had multiple versions and PCB's, so maybe the BOM wasn't updated accordingly?
I currently own the AM2320, should I replace it to DHT22?

Thanks.

Missing parts

Hello,

I can not find the following parts:

PCB vs BOM:
C 10pF not found on PCB, is this the component between nano and DHT22?
C 4,7uF not found on PCB, is this the component between nano and DHT22?
ESP32 not found on PCB.
SPX1117 or IRF3205 used?
AM2320 or DHT22 used?
What are the TX, RX and GND for?
On the backside of the box there is a opening for the USB, the other one is for the power i asuming. What connector is used?

3D print:
I only have the box file but not the top of the box.

inline fuse on the 12V feed line

Hello,
question about inline fuse on the 12V feed line.
How big should the fuse be? And what part do you recommend for a the PTC Resetable Fuse?

Thanks, your doing a great job.

Peter Boot
