request-catcher's Introduction

Request Catcher

Request Catcher is a tool for catching web requests for testing webhooks, http clients and other applications that communicate over http. Request Catcher gives you a subdomain to test your application against. Keep the index page open and instantly see all incoming requests to the subdomain via WebSockets.

FYI, it seems like the service is down

Your website doesn't work

I've just tried to go to your website and it won't work.

When I go to the https version, I get an unsafe website that looks like a blog:

Prettify JSON Body

Firstly what a fantastic tool. Just so simple to use and so useful.

Wanted to add a small suggestion, an option to prettify the json in the request body would be an awesome addition.

redirect www to root

Now that nginx is removed, there’s no redirection for www. It’s confusing if you land on www and don’t get the root landing page.

Better visibility of Selection

Hey I first of all thanks for the request-catcher, I just have started using it since yesterday, the only issue I have right now is that the selection is not really clear. It would help if you change it e.g from #eff9eb -> #e0e0e0 or #eff9eb -> #ebebeb

getting errors while trying to run locally

go run main.go "config/development.json"

main.go:17:2: cannot find package "github.com/jbowens/request-catcher/catcher" in any of:
        /usr/local/go/src/github.com/jbowens/request-catcher/catcher (from $GOROOT)
        /home/cartlow/go/src/github.com/jbowens/request-catcher/catcher (from $GOPATH)
