Mobile App with Stoic Quotes, a Meditation Counter with Ambient Sound and a To-Do List

This App displays Random Stoic Quotes from Seneca, Marcus Aurelius, and Epictetus. This app contains a Meditation Counter for 2 mins which plays ambient background music to bring out your inner peace. It also consists of a To-Do list where you can note down your pending tasks and check them off.

In this app, there is a meditation page that has a timer. The button when clicked will start the timer for 10mins and play some music. The music does play even when the screen is off or the app is running in the background, but I am unable to make the timer state "seconds" change in the background or when the screen's off in Android. It works fine in iOS. For example, if I turned the screen off at 9:20, then when I switch the screen on after a few minutes it resumes from 9:20 itself instead of starting from the correct time.
