Is it possible to lower the slideshow in the stacking order or do I need to address that in the nav?

I will go over this with you when we chat this week.

I marked all of the stuff that I think you need to do in slideshow.html {# TODO: ... #} comments. I also left some placeholder text in there. Let me know if you have any questions.

We should figure out if this calendar plugin is going to be useful or not.

The slideshow text covers up the link because the link is wrapping the image which has the text positioned on top of it. I think the best solution is to wrap the text in the link and make it cover the entire image (regardless of how much text is present).
