How can you limit or bound the moveing, scaling, and rotating object in a way to avoid the object getting off the work area ?

One feature i miss is ability to keep aspect ratio while transforming. E.g. in Inkscape you can press Ctrl to resize symbol without distorting it.

Just a suggestion:
The current working mode, with changes reflected symmetrically from the registration point, is very unnatural to me. It makes it very hard to actually size the object - for every change you have to "predict" the symmetric behavior.

It would be cool to have this "registration point mode" as an alternative to a "basic mode", where dragging the corners or sides change their own side without reflection.
