Did this tools fit to finding the effector in plant parasites nematode,If I want to use this tools to do something like you,need I to change the practice data when I want to trian the model ?

I am reading this section http://effectorp.csiro.au/output.html in which says that EffectorP can retrieve a FASTA file and a summary table. I understand this option is if I use the website, but how can I get those output formats for Linux?

Hi Jana,

I'm sure you're aware that python2 is no longer maintained.
Do you mind if I submit pull requests to update your tools to use python3?

If you'd prefer, I can make it backwards compatible with python2 using the future module, but several operating systems and tools like pip have indicated that they'll be dropping support for python2 in the near future.

I installed the code following the isntruction.
However, I met the error when I run the test code. The error is as following. I tried change the path in EffectorP.py. I can not figure out it. Could you check what it happen?

Hi,

Following installation, when I go to test Effector P, I get the following error:

Call pepstats...
dyld: Library not loaded: @rpath/libmysqlclient.18.dylib
Referenced from: /Users/aonufrak/Downloads/EffectorP-2.0-master/Scripts/EMBOSS-6.5.7/emboss/.libs/pepstats
Reason: image not found
Error calling pepstats: Calling pepstats returned -6

I tried using the --without-x option during the configuration step similar to a previous issue but that did not solve the problem as well. Any advice on how to get around this problem would be appreciated.

I am running EffectorP and I get the following issue with both Effector_Testing.fa and my protein file.

Call pepstats... /../software/EffectorP_2.0/Scripts/EMBOSS-6.5.7/emboss/.libs/lt-pepstats: symbol lookup error: /../software/EffectorP_2.0/Scripts/EMBOSS-6.5.7/emboss/.libs/lt-pepstats: undefined symbol: embIeppKDel Error calling pepstats: Calling pepstats returned 127

Any suggestions?
