vimscript is great, but lua is more flexible with neovim. The transfer from vimscript to lua will be step by step as there are way too many things to do.

The approach to take will be bottom up, and here will be mini-road map for it:

TBC.

1. specific plugin configs (coc, fzf, etc.) and keybindings
2. some general settings
3. Plug package manager and old plugins

In NeoVim 0.4+ the flicker terminal needs the following hack to prevent crazy scrolling

au TermEnter * setlocal scrolloff=0
au TermLeave * setlocal scrolloff=10

But, in 0.5+ this problem seems fixed 👍 which means we no longer need this hack

Personal vimwiki could be a sub module in nvim config file and set as a private repo (to protect the wiki and not worry about loss wikis)

In Packer you can specify which commit you want to use for this plugin, this is a safe option (if repo is being compromised or breaking changes rolled out)
