tiefix's Issues

Curseforge

Consider publishing this to Curseforge for easier inclusion in modpacks.

Suggestions for more bug fixes.

Suggestion details:

  1. Is it possible to have the dimensions bug fixed so that worlds do not get wiped when no worlds are present/worlds are upgraded?

  2. Is it possible to have the StackOverflow bug fixed when attempting to debug advancements?

  3. Is it possible to have the maps fixed so that colors of them become faked if nulled?

Additional infos:

I may be aware that these are not necessarily annoying but are helpful for fixing server-related bugs when using fabric as server software.

Text in settings screen can overlap buttons

First of all, I think that It would be nice if the descriptions of bugs were in the tooltips... because if I want to translate this mod, for example, into Tatar Language... I have a BIG problems with text fitting that cannot be avoided:

I'm not so sure about this one, because I tested v.1.11.0, but I think that nothing changed in newest version:
Also, as I can see, there's missing "No", "Yes", "Reset" and "Save & Quit" strings in the file "en_us.json"...
You can use an Vanilla-ish translations for "Yes" and "Reset", but "No" and "Save & Quit" strings still need to be added in source translation file.

Maybe add some of the bugs from random patches?

Random patches is a mod that got stuck in 1.16.5, and it's a mod that helped me a lot through settings and bug fixes. So I looked at that the project uses the MIT License (which would be a pretty permissive license on code change or portability), and I looked at tiefix and figured it was just a one-time improvement from random patches... so maybe if there's a possibility porting some bugs from random patches would be of great help to the folks at 1.18.1

Crash on pressing Shift+End in text box

Reported by cotyJAM on CurseForge:

The scrolling fix is crashing my game. Specifically when in a command block GUI with a decently long command, holding [shift] and pressing [end]. If you've never heard of this, and want to look into it, I'll provide some info. I'm just going to disable that part though- Thanks for the mod!

List of client-side bugs.

This is sorta my second attempt but a grabbed list of client-side bugs from debugify as that mod was kinda controversial due to it not having an anti-telemetry option + using checks for bug fixes which i was dissatisified about (mainly server verification context and update checker...?),

List of bugs here; otherwise idk if this is alot of work to be put into but can possibly ensure this would help advance tiefix aswell.

EDIT: A second list of bugs are here as additional bugs were found directly from blanket + thorium thanks to @Julienraptor01.

Broken on 1.19

The game launches, but gets stuck in an infinite loop of reloading resources.

Question About Telemetry Removal

There's another anti-telemetry mod called "No-Telemetry" and am wondering does the module in this mod disable them the same way? Just want to know if I can remove the other one.

Thanks in advance!
