Application for shiftwork scheduling. Managers can create weekly schedules for hourly employees. Hourly employees can login to view their schedule. Use username admin and password adminadmin to login and look around. From there you can see all functionality or create a new user profile. Different user employment positions have different levels of access to functionality.

How It's Made:

Tech used: HTML5 BADGECSS BADGEJAVASCRIPT BADGEMONGODB BADGE

Node.js for the backend. Html templating done with EJS. MongoDB used for the database.

Optimizations

Short Term - create algorithm for sales projection and schedule have/needs. Improve finalized schedule and approval functionality.

Long Term - Rebuild templating using React

Lessons Learned:

The importance of clean schemas when working with the database. Data manipulation became much easier after a few revisions of the data structure.
