collnotes's Issues

issue exporting a trip

Hi there! I recently started using CollNotes on my android. So far I have 4 trips recorded. I was able to successfully export 2 of them as csv files (options for export popped up, I selected drive, everything worked well), however the other 2 trips will not export. I've tried changing the export settings, closing and reopening the app, etc. When I select export trip, only the "Backup exported successfully" pop-up appears, but the file is not exported anywhere. The names of these trips involve dates (eg Barking Slopes 9/3) while the two that exported successfully do not have dates, so that may be part of the issue? Happy to provide more detail and work with you to troubleshoot.

fails to export

Android, col notes will say export successful but it doesn't actually export to email or drive

Add a method to remove records

Currently: No method to remove records at any class level (project, trip, site, specimen)

Notes:
Initially this was intentional, we didn't want to lose anyone's data. It may now be appropriate to add an option to delete records at any site and the associated children records.
If added, it should have some verification pop-up for example if removing a project: "Are you sure you want to PERMANENTLY delete 'Flora of Risa' AND ALL 21 associated records"?

exporting csv files

Hello,
I downloaded the app to use on iPhone 7 and tried it out last week. I was not able to export the data in a csv file. It may be that I don't know where to find the file on the phone. Can you give me any clues about how to find the exported data?

I am a plant ecologists and not a savy computer programmer or iPhone user. This is likely to be something simple!

Thank you.
