I followed all the steps, and the database editor cannot seem to find my save game.

After a few driver and calendar transfers, it's impossible for me to launch a GP. I'm stuck with my performance targets, but I can't go on and launch the GP. Do you have a solution?

i pasted my save file into the same folder as 'runvbs' but once opening your editor i cant seem to find anything. what am i doing wrong?

Keep getting this error, but the troubleshooting doesn't seem to work. I wanna also note that with installing Python I didn't get the option to check the boxes like showed in the example, while having used the same version. When opening via launch.bat I get:

I've Python 3.11, nodeJS installed. Win11.

I downloaded the release branch, put a save in the same folder and when I execute "run" I get the UI empty with the "Could not connect with backend" message in red.

Any ideas?

I had the Editor installed on my windows 10 PC and it worked fine, installed first time perfectly and worked without issues.

My PC then broke down on me so I bought a new one. While waiting on it to arrive I installed it on my Windows 11 laptop and no matter what I tried I couldn't get it to work so I gave up.

My new PC arrived with win 11 installed and I am having the same issue with not being able to get it to work.

When I used "launch" to open it, I was told that it couldn't pull python or something along those lines and to run from Microsoft store, so I installed Python through the Microsoft store and now I am getting this.

When I try and do the "install pip" fix I am getting this.

After using the tool and playing the save file for a bit, one of the drivers control stat decreases to 50-60. This only occurs when using the db editor. Playing the game without ever using the db editor does not lead to the stat decrease.
Swapping the driver out with someone else only helps for 1-2 races before the driver also gets the decrease in control.

I've tried everything in the troubleshooting guide multiple times and nothing will fix the problem. No matter what I do, I keep getting "can't connect to backend"

Hi all, just struggling to wrap my head around what's happening at the moment, My save is registered and loads in the Database but whenever I try to save it and reload no stats or overall is changed in F1 Manager 23. I'm guessing I'm missing something I've just not been able to wrap my head around it

I downloaded the database editor mainly to change the calendar as it gets repetetive to run the same pattern every year. Everything is going great, but when the changes are implemented the game cant seem to "accept" them. The calendar is fixed the way i made it, but its still stuck on the "Bahrain in x days" even tho the opening race is for example Melbourne. This makes it so that when I get to race preparations for Melbourne, its "stuck" on Bahrain and wont allow me to move forward.. Makes sense? Help..

Add a toggle (investigate why bootstrap ones do not work) to enable a function that will let you drag and drop a driver into any team and will generate parameters for their contract automatically

I follow best with a video, as I'm not a coder.

Also, would it be possible to do all this in Microsoft Visual Studio?

So it only has to fetch the first race of the season and then can generate values depending on the tracks like weather and temperature. Also would add support of tracks like france to get back into the game (if the game does not reject them)

Okey i'll explain really quick the situation
On every save and every new season i upgrade every single driver's overall to be at least 70 and their growth to 99 because i believe that the development system on this game is way too slow. But the downside is i noticed that a lot more drivers than before are annoucing retirement very early, at 24, at 25 years old etc. I don't really know why and it's very weird. Can this get changed from the database level in any way? Because i know that the solution is to constantly extend their contracts from the database level (because you are unable too from the game) But it is very weird to see drivers retiring at 25 years old for example. oh and i think its worth mentioning that i am the one making the driver transfers because they feel more realistic this way

I updated the ratings of a few drivers, removed Imola from the calender, and changed some reserve drivers. None of the changes have been saved. When i go back in the save everything is the same.

The rest is working good, i dont know what im doing wrong.

I've installed the save editor for F1 Manager 23. However, when I want to drag and drop the save file, the save editor can't open it. Therefore, I can't use the editor. The save selector is empty, no matter how many times I drag&drop the save file.

First time I tried it, after FP2, a crash.
This was close to a race weekend, so I tried again right after a race weekend, to ensure this wasn't the problem. Next race went fine, then came a sprint weekend, essentially making qualifying the second session. This time, it crashed in qualifying.

In both cases, reverting to the save pre-edit, would make things work fine and get past those sessions. It looks like something gets corrupted when changing drivers?

Okey, so i was playing Williams and i just got into 2026 season, i am before 4th race of the season which in my case is Monaco and i decided to replace Alex Albon with Lando Norris (I did it at the beginning of the previous season by signing a contract for the next season - it being 2026, the one i am currently in) and i did just that and i noticed that Alex is gone from contracts free drivers section as well as from editing driver's statistics section. I thoght, maybe it's because he's retiring but no, that's not the case, i can offer him a contract in game, he's listed as an free agent. And of course i have 1.5.3 DBE Version.

Before i go tho i'd like to see that the tool is great and without it the game would be very boring because it gives so many oportunities. Thanks for creating such a great tool and i'd like to offer my ideas, of course if they are possible to do

1. Editing Board Objectives
2. Editing Random Events, Regulations that happen within the emails
3. Adding possiblity to save "Presets" that would automaticaly do a set of commands when starting a new save because it's very exhausting when starting a new save that you have to edit everything all over again manually and it's usually takes like 10 minutes in my example
4. I don't really think that adding new drivers/teams would be possible but that would be amazing
5. Possiblity for any stat being 100 because for some reason maximum you can set in the database is 99 (For Example on every new save there is a driver called Nikola Tsolov that has 100 Growth value)

I am having some problems getting the "run.vbs" file to work.
Every time that i open the file with python it just opens and immediately closes/crashes python, the only way to open the database for me is to open the "launch.bat" file however when i try to change something in the database with this method (tried both transfers and stats) the game crashes when i start any quali session (the practice sessions seem to run well however). The crash report is the following: "unhandled exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000028".
Can you tell me what am i doing wrong and how can i get the script to work properly?

When I paste "curl https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py -o get-pip.py" and run the command, it is writen :"Warning: Failed to open the file get-pip.py: Permission denied" and two lines bellow "curl: (23) Failure writing output to destination"

What can I do please?

İ have pip but still have the issue "Could not connect with backend". I have shared the screenshot of the error that appears when I run 'launch.bat' below. I'm confident that my Python is added to the PATH and that pip is installed.

Hi I cannot edit alpha tauri or Williams because the size of the letter is too big and there is no a bar to access the teams below, is there a possibility to fix it?

Hi i have followed all the steps and have my save file downloaded in the correct folder, but when i double click the run vbs file it does not open the game

I have just installed this mod and its working great exept one thing, i cant edit the line ups from alpa thauri and williams. The screens stops and i cant scroll down.

When the modal for contract details open, you can hit confirm wihtout having filled the 3 top inputs and the tool will crash

After installing the tool and making some very light changes, the game now crashes every time I try to load my saved game. I've attached the readout I get when the game crashes from the Unreal Engine, but I'm not sure what to do next.

Is there a way to fix this, or am I screwed?

I would love to see a feature that allows users to edit engine stats.

How do you solve the issue of the game saves being steam_autoclad.vdf

I used the editor in the middle of the season (at Canadian GP). After using the database editor, all statistics are reset such as total point for driver, constructor, DHL Pit stops, and even all information regarding the results on the previous races. Basically, all statistic are reset to zero.

Any workaround regarding this issue?

I use the database editor to edit:
-Races for ATA Qualification
-Engine performance stats
-Staff stats, but not driver.
