It would be useful to be able to view differences between two old exported versions of a document, or between current document and an older version.

To be able to do this, however, you'd probably have to keep a list of all exported documents. Or (more realistically) read all the documents in the export folder. And you'd have to find a solution for programmatically compare documents that are locked (which has caused some problems so far).

There should be some way of getting more information about the script without looking in the code. Such as a popup linking to https://github.com/Itangalo/MsWordVersioning/

Maybe it would be a good idea to, optionally, write the document history to a plain text file. Not all documents are suited for containing a document history (even when it makes sense to have one).

When creating a new version with the current code, you end up with two documents open (eg 1.3 and 1.3+). It would be nice if only the editable document is open.

Some subs/macros disappeared. Not good.

It would be useful with versioning of Excel workbooks, too. And possibly PowerPoint presentations.

The docx files are actually zip files. (This can be confirmed by renaming a file extension to .zip and opening it.)

Maybe it is a good idea to be able to export pdf:s and locked Word documents to a sub folder in the zip file. Maybe.

Having a macro for setting the version number would be useful. It could be done by editing custom properties in the document, but it is more difficult before any version number exists.

The current cancel button in input boxes is equal to pressing the ok button with blank input. This leads to some problems.

It would be useful if the message box after completed export also shows a link to the export folder (or allows opening the export folder with a button).

There is no version number.

Variable names and documentation should be changed to English. (Or perhaps the documentation should be both Swedish and English.)
