problem in compiling with libeb-dev

I tried compiling the goldendict from gtihub through ebuild, but failed with Epwing format support. I found the information from the goldendict page, here is the explanation. Please fix it. Thanks

Building without Epwing format support

If you have problem building with libeb-dev package, you can pass "CONFIG+=no_epwing_support" to qmake in order to disable Epwing format support

qmake "CONFIG+=no_epwing_support"

stale cache files in metadata/cache

Hi,

I'm having trouble with paludis telling me that all the cache files in
metadata/cache of ::stuff are stale.
The reason for this is that they refer to things from the gentoo
repository (like eclasses), which implies that all the cache files in
metadata/cache of stuff become stale the moment the gentoo repository
changes something.
So, please remove metadata/cache.

Philipp

However the portage doesn't know about this dependency and tries to remove movit with --depclean.

Can't emerge osl-9999

Hi,

I had osl-9999 installed from this repository with no problems, updated my system to kernel 3.10.4 (x86_64 gentoo) and when doing a global update to the system i started getting errors while trying to install this same package.
First it started "forcing me to update llvm to 3.3 otherwise it would die while applying the patch (I had llvm3.1) it first died applying llvm32.patch, i updated llvm to 3.2 it died applying llvm33.patch then i updated llvm to 3.3 and it started compiling but failed at around 80%. I edited the ebuild and commented out the line with llvm33.patch and downgraded to llvm-3.2, after this it compiles the whole thing and then gives an error while installing(?) I'll just paste the final lines after the source compiled:

Source compiled.
Test phase [not enabled]: media-gfx/osl-9999

Install osl-9999 into /var/tmp/portage/media-gfx/osl-9999/image/ category media-gfx
!!! dobin: dist/linux64/bin/* does not exist

  • ERROR: media-gfx/osl-9999 failed (install phase):
  • dobin failed

Any idea how to correct this issue?

If you need any more info let me know.

blender-9999 fails to compile with ffmpeg-1.2.6

it fails because of av_frame_alloc() and av_frame_free() functions not being defined. according to this post the fix is to replace av_frame_alloc with avcodec_alloc_frame and av_frame_free with avcodec_free_frame in intern/audaspace/ffmpeg/AUDFFmpegWriter.cpp. idk what is the correct fix but i suppose depending in ffmpeg-1.2.6 and patching this file could make the ebuild work again.

EAPI=3 error on every emerge

Hello.

First, I must say you've done an excellent job putting together this overlay: it contains a lot of software which is nowhere else to be found. Many thanks for this.

Unfortunately, I'm getting EAPI=3 error on every emerge execution. Specifically:

* ERROR: x11-libs/libwnck-3.2.1::stuff failed (depend phase):

 *          gnome2.eclass, line  19:  Called die

 *      *) die "EAPI=${EAPI} is not supported" ;;

 * Working directory: '/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages'
 * S: '/var/tmp/portage/x11-libs/libwnck-3.2.1/work/libwnck-3.2.1'

Could you look into the cause and see if you could fix this?
