I tried for a day or two to get the Fade in/out Notification demo program to work as a subprocess. The same thing would work equally as well for this popup. The idea is to spin out an entirely new process, python and all, to do the animating while your main program remains your main program (no threads needed). This will allow your main program to ALSO use PySimpleGUI.

The design was a single call that the user's code could make that would then turn all this mess into a process. I wasn't able to get it to work, sadly. It seems like a "cheap" way to get true concurrency running in a single PySimpleGUI program.
