Rather than passing config information via flags, it would be convenient to be able to provide options via a config file.

There are a variety of configuration options that can be provided and they can be very verbose. abstracting them out of a config file(something like daisybell.cfg) would be ideal. I would ssuggest using yaml and allowing the config to be an array so tha tmultiple runs could be defined at one

Currently, multiple IP's can listen to the notebook server, which means passwords are vulnerable.

Describe the solution you'd like
Docker secrets enables you to centrally manage sensitive data, such as passwords, and limit the containers that have access to this data. Ultimately, using docker secrets would improve password security.
