Regularly we organise meetups at the different campuses. It would be nice to have an overview of upcoming meetups and being able to view past meetups.

It could include:

• title
• description
• add to calendar
• link to meetup.com
• ...

Currently in the build process, we see the following log:

Serverless regions: Washington, D.C., USA

This should be updated to something in the EU

The current contribution docs for adding an artile are pretty brief. Would be great to have this extended and perhaps dynamically being loaded on techhub.iodigital.com/contribute

A new author for the techhub would go to this page and see how the process works, what they should do, who to reach out to etc.

A talk supports having multiple authors, these however aren't shown on the article list. Needs some additional design considerations:

1. How would we combine the combination of multiple names and roles?

Now that it's out there, let's document its usage.

Many images are checked in to the repository at the moment. This will only become more and more.

Because of this, cloning takes quite a while. When forking to add a new article, this is quite annoying.

Luckily, we can use Git LFS to help us with this.

When you scroll on the page for a bit and try to click the hamburger for the mobile nav, the click doesn't register

Currently, when the navigation is open, we still display the hamburger icon in the navigation toggle. This should be a closing icon (cross) like on https://www.iodigital.com.

Bonus points for animating/morphing!

Not sure what the issue is. It gives an ESM import error.
Could also have to do with the environment variable missing with the YouTube API key.

I think it would be great to have the ability to subscribe to a newsletter with all the post of each month.

We currently do this internally, bit external facing this could be a great added feature

When using an apostrophe in the summary field of an article. The page fails to build.

I tried escaping the character, but that doesn't seem to work.

Probably something frontmatter related

Some meta tags for the article pages will be helpful for reader applications & promote the article authors as well :)

I'm willing to submit a PR, but maybe this is also something quick for someone else to add.

Right now we have a list of all talks available. I'd like to see some more info per talk where possible like:

• Already given? If so link(s) to event, YouTube
• Programmed to be given? If so, link(s) to the event

Currently, if you click on the "all posts" link, you see the first post in the list again while you had to scroll 5 posts down to get to that link. It should go to the "all posts" page and scroll down 5 posts

I don't think this is desired behaviour?

The header element spans over the entire width of the page but is transparent so you can read text under it anyway. Problem is interactive elements like links won't work so it's really confusing.

Currently, if your avatar is not square in aspect ration, the avatar shown at the author details on an article page is squished

Object Fit Cover should fix it

Often we get questions for speakers on events at clients or meetups. It would be nice to have an overview on the website with Talks + Speakers who can be invited.

Article pagination is probably missing a container class.

Header images on the component library articles are stretched. Original aspect ratio ≠ rendered aspect ratio.

Quick fix = object-fit: cover;

Can we recommend/use SVGs for these types of illustrations? IMHO, I find the image compression quite harsh for illustrations.

Currently the last 5 jobs posted on iodigital.com in the category Technology are shown.
It would be nice if we find 5 jobs based on the tags of an article and if we can't find 5 fill it with random ones.
