md-badges's Issues

Make every current list go in alphabetical order. ๐Ÿ”ค

Currently, the badges are very sporadical and as such, are kind of hard to find.

The plan is to refactor the code at some point so that EVERY badge is in alphabetical order in their table.

For example, here is how the "Operating Systems Badges" table looks like right now (8/12/23):

image

This should be reordered, so ie. Andorid is first along with its code, then Arch Linux, then iOS, and so on.

Add Node.js badge

Code:

| Node.js | [![Node.js](https://img.shields.io/badge/Node.js-green?logo=node.js&logoColor=white)](#) |

Fix typo

'Good Markdown buttons/badges for to your repository!'

Change to 'for you to add to your'

Create .gitattributes

copy this code into the .gitattributes file

*.md linguist-detectable=true
*.md linguist-documentation=false

Fix table of contents

Due to the addition of the emojis, the ToC has to be adjusted to fit these new headings.

Some icons have bad visibility due to color choice.

Noticed this while finding the Shield badges, but I'll note about it here.

Some icons/badges have poor visibility of their icons. (and no, dark mode doesn't make a difference)

Example 1: Kubernetes

Example 2: TypeScript

The blue's basically overlap each other, and so do some other badges, but not for blue.

My plan for this is to (try to) change the background for some of these icons or change the colors for some of the icons to have better visibility. Albeit, it may make it less recognizable, but provide better visibility.
