Perhaps the subjects really should somehow be selected from a controlled lexicon, as LCAuth Subjects or FAST rather than using just text. It would certainly help when i18n comes around. The alternative heads more or less inevitably toward word clouds in one language, or worse in several.

@LeadSongDog Agreed that something a little less flexible than plain string would be nice; especially for i18n, but baby steps :)
