I have recently come across a thread where you have suggested to once more release a new Cyberfox version. That's great news! After all, it would be a shame to lose the arguably most customizable Firefox!

Have you considered to include this into the new release?

Another possibility might be to include the most recent CTR into Cyberfox and add it to the entries in the extensions.legacy.exceptions setting. In this case, you'd have to test which settings of CTR might be broken. It might be a good idea to work closely with @Aris-t2 to sort potential issues out.

If neither of these things are an option, consider to use this browser as the new Cyberfox base:

Classic Theme Restorer could be embedded there without issues. They have removed telemetry and Pocket as well. Classic Theme Restorer has been adapted to this browser with its newest incarnation. As a last resort, this might be a good idea.

Mozilla has introduced some new telemetry settings, Activity Stream, and Shield since Firefox 57. You need to watch out for them and remove them if you want to keep Firefox ESR as your base.

Keep up the good work, but first and foremost take care of your health! I would be excited to see a totally new Cyberfox release.

PS: I had to create the issue here because the main Cyberfox repo does not seem to have an "issue" section.
