Has something to do with the tuner implementation, play around with implementations or how I handle overtones?

If we're going to do this with an audio read out, we might as well say "Flat A5", "sharp b4" etc -- that seems like a more valuable tuner

It keeps saying "sharp" or "flat" even when there is nobody playing anything into the mic. The fix is to have it not report anything until the volume exceeds some threshold.

We can make this decision, but it's not currently a haptic tuner. Could try to attend to the issue with the haptic feedback shifting the tuner, either signal processing wise or perhaps by making this tuner an on-body haptic feedback device (ie watch or similar to that metronome set up) and a clip on tuner (like Snark) that communicate? Or maybe a watch wouldn't create the same sounds? Worth going down that road maybe?
