npm issue

When trying to install the backend with npm, I'm seeing this error:

Any ideas?

Sending empty payload breaks the communication protocol

When there are no data to send, an empty request with only single '\n' is sent during flush.
Instrumental backend response is: Don't know how to process message

Empty requests should not be sent.

Version mismatch between npm repository and this repository

Sources that are available in this repository has version 0.9.0. Exactly the same version number is in npm repository, but npm contains older sources there.

I suggest to increase version number here and push recent version to npm repository.
