Reorganize the results so that the user can download the results by category instead of sub-category in the form of a csv file.

The file that downloads for compost has some errors in it – it is showing the first ID column for some reason, the title row is missing, and the ZIP code has some strange characters included

• Limit the search area to the state of New York.

• Allow the user the ability to click on the map to produce the search location rather than
  just an address.

• Configure the options of the search task to improve the results of a partial word search.
  This sub-task is based on the assumption that the Esri JavaScript API object used has the
  capability to improve the partial word search.

• Change text for Step 2 to be 'Choose a radius and Location'

• Put elements in order of Radius, Location, Estimated Waste Filter

• Remove Step 3 from Location elements and add it to Estimated Waster filter with text 'Filter by Estimated Waste'

• Remove 'click to search again' graphic and text

• Change 'Run Search' button to green or a color that stands out more.

If you click ‘choose location’ and change your mind and enter an address, it will still search around the last location chosen. However, if this is done on the first search after opening up the map, no search executes at all.

When the user wants to make a search and gets the address from the map, make sure that the radius gets cleared. This will need to happen when the address is generated by map click or on selecting another address from the Geolocation lookup box.

If two layers are selected, one with estimated waste available and one without (institutions and BUD for example), the step 3 – ‘filter by estimated waste’ doesn’t display.

Put text under the run search button “Query results will be highlighted on the map”.

Test that Compost sites are are working properly.

Change email to "[email protected]".

Change max value on estimated waste slider to 100

• Change the text within the address field to “Or Enter an Address”

• Change the capitalization of the estimated food title to “ Filter Businesses by Estimated Food Waste”

• De-capitalize “miles” after the radius field and “tons per week” after the food waste field.

• De-capitalize “steps” in the paragraph at the beginning “Follow Steps…”

• Add “3.” Before “Filter Businesses by Estimated Food Waste” when it pops up.

• Make sure after every step there is a ":"

Change the first sentence in the instructions to say "follow the steps below" instead of "follow steps 1-4".

Need to query with different field for the CAFO layers.

• Check that they are correctly entering into the config

• Check that the following Indicators are listed in the config to use the Estimated Food Waste filter: Hospitality, Restaurant, Institutions, and Retail.

• Check that all the above layer have a consistent field name for the Estimated Food Wast Filter of Est_Waste_tons_wk. Add an exception to this field name if necessary.

The clear or reset button will reset the widget components and map
back to its original state. This will include clearing selected features and buffer area from the map
and resetting the element such as textbox, and buffer slider back to original state.

Updates that RIT would like to Organic Resource Locator:

1. Make the visibility of the data download feature more prominent. The main feedback is that is not obvious that one can download data.

2. Allow people to suggest new or updated information (potentially through a fillable form?). Right now there is the ability to send an email, but that is all. I would like a way for the user to send me all the data I’d need to make a new entry rather than just the request to do so.

3. Improve the partial search function

4. Add the functionality to be able to search by the amount of estimated waste

5. Have the main category results download together, not in sub-categories

6. Download full sets of data without using the search on the map

7. Be able to search around a selected point, not only an entered address.

8. Add a clear button.

9. Display number of results after a search has completed.

• Create cost estimate

With the food waste filter make sure to treat empty of or null values as 0.

• Capitalize r on Radius (text for step 2)

• Change text over Estimated waster filter to “Filter businesses by estimated food waste”

• Remove line around Run Search Button – change button color to yellow/green or color that stands out.

• Adding text to the top of the current widget to direct the user to the downloads of the
  search results.

• Change the link of “Questions and Comments” to lead the user to a page specified by
  RIT where the user can fill out a form to give feedback data.

• Add a link to RIT’s page for downloading the full dataset. The full data set will be in the
  form of a static csv file that will be pre-made and placed into the website.

• Display the number of results after a search has completed.

• Limit Search to the state of New York
• Look into configuration options to improve the results of partial word search results

• Change text in geocoder to “Enter an Address”.

• Change text in “Get Address from Map” to “Choose Location From Map”.

Hospitality category window doesn’t show company name results – need to use the field Company_Name. The code needs to look for either field and if it doesn't find facility name look for Company_Name.

Look into adding a "Run Search" button that would initiate the buffer tool instead of the user selecting an address or clicking on the map.

In the downloads for categories with sub-cats the download is repeating the column headers for each sub cat. Also, the results number is including the sub-header. Need to take that out.

When category Hospitality and Food processor are chosen and the search is run it only selects Hospitality. This didn't seem to happen before #28 was fixed

tons per week on step #3 is still showing as Tons Per Week

Sometimes the query is not working. Specifically when using a query of Est_Waste_Ton_wk >= 1 for some reason the greater than 1 works but some features that equal 1 are not selected. May need to look at the data.

Ava will provide a URL to the page for the full dataset download.

Make sure food waste filter is looking for a set of fields, not a specific field associated with a cat. Name.

Add a slider to the widget that will allow for the user to specify the estimated waste to input into the search.
