How to install

Go here
Press install
Done

How to install without the marketplace

Download latest release
Open up VS Code
Press Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + X
Up near the top right corner of the Extensions tab click on the three dots symbol
Click the third setting from the bottom, Install from VSIX...
Navigate to where you downloaded VSIX file and double click
It ought to work, with all the bells and whistles

Language

This is up to date with the current version of scarpet

Commands

For the use of commands you can just do Ctrl+Shift+P (Cmd instead of Ctrl for those mac users) and input a command you want to execute

Command	Description	Name
`scarpet: Copy code to clipboard for Minecraft usage`	Copies the whole file to the clipboard and removes comments and adds dollars signs before writing it to the clipboard	`scarpet.copyToClipboard`

API

All commands are currently supported with this API, and any future commands will also be supported

add variable names for code completion

add icon for scarpet files

I need opinions on this matter, the current icon that gnembon got me is

but its not made for a file icon in vscode.

My current idea was this one

(its an svg you can download it and edit it)

[Feature requset] add formatter

as the tiltle
(i'm writing a script with some strange idea so need formatter

[Bug][Low pri] When changing language in a .sc file then putting scarpet again, plugin only half works

Basically, if you open a .sc file, it will work, but if you change language to, say, python, it works, and the when you revert to scarpet, it won't work even though you are in a .sc file.
And if you open a new file .txt, and change the lang to scarpet in the bottom right corner, thatn it wont work. It will highlight properly, but no autocompletion (this isnt a biggie, which is why there is low pri on the bug name)

Autocomplete remove whitespace

When you have whitespace before the autocomplete, then it will delete those whitespace, its really annoying, because I have to tidy my code again

Closing parenthesis in string ends string

Having a closing parenthesis in a string acts like having an apostrophe and therefore inverts all future strings (see screenshots).

send to minecraft

instead of reloading and running the code inside minecraft, vs code sends the code directly to minecraft to run so you can quickly iterate over ideas.
there is a maya extension that does that, it would be a cool addition
