I've sort of set to see the code and it seems to be applying itself every 0.1 second. While it's needed to work (I guess), one can agree it kills potential to select stuff. So I propose to add a function of cloning the div sub and z-indexing it above all while hovering, to be able to operate with its text. You can set the source invisible while it's on.

How do we get this to work with chinese subtitles? I've uploaded a chinese srt file and it's displaying glyphs, but not the correct ones. Does this have to do with the fonts? Thanks!

Google are screw-ups for asking money to be a developer, but I try to use it in Opera as, well, probably everyone, and that thought of getting a node.js setup and getting through manifests and stuff, it's just doesn't get to me. Sorry for that slackery language, I'm not in the episode of the Social Network, I know.

While you are at it, can you pad subtitles up and get the z-index for the host lower. I'm trying to use a hover to translate extensions, because I try to learn Japanese one day a week.
