What You'll Need

You will need to get your Timecamp API token. You can find this token at here, usually under the subheading Your programming API token:.

Commands

Start/Stop Tasks

This command finds all the tasks that have no more children and lists them, a handful of the recent entries, and the active task/timer.

Tasks List View

The tasks list is divided into sections. Below are the sections and the actions for them and the keyboard shortcuts.

Active Task Section

ENTER: Open form to edit the timer.
CMD + S: Stop the timer.

Recent Tasks Section

ENTER: Start the timer for the task with the same task note/description and close Raycast.
CMD + S: Start the timer for the task with the same task note/description.

Tasks Section

ENTER: Start the timer for the task and open form view to edit the note/description for the timer.
CMD + S: Start the timer for the task.

Form View

This view is used to edit the active timer info.

CMD + ENTER: Save edits and close Raycast.
CMD + S: Save edits and return to the tasks list view.

FEAT: Create command to show daily/weekly/monthly summary of tasks

Leverage AI to generate a report. Items of interest:

Total hours per task
- group by task and notes
- Show the total hours for that task for the month and week
General summary that we can use during dev scrum call

FEAT: Add Feedback HUD when user creates task and adds note

This will close raycast and the HUD will show Task Started

FEAT: Add CMD+S as a Global shortcut to end task

Add an ActionPanel to the <List> that will action close active task if it exists.

FIX: Form Submit not poping the component

I think on submit it is adding some weird escaped characters, and since the if statement checks for ==, then it does not close

FEAT: Implement some kind of cache or storage

The ext takes a few seconds to pull all the tasks and to show the updated timer.

Should also implement the isLoading for the <List> and elsewhere that it applies.

FEAT: Use Frecency to sort the tasks but frecency

FEAT: Open note automatically when starting a timer

I think most people go straight into the note when starting a timer so this would save a keypress.

FEAT: The Note textArea to add note to task without having to CMD+ENTER (Submit Form)

Can add an option to toggle this in the configuration. Thinking we can use the onChange attribute on the textArea and set it after about 1 second of the no typing activity.

FEAT: Asana integration

Feats:

Include option to link a TC task to a Asana task. This would prefix the ticket ID to the note
Maybe explore option to start the process by selecting an Asana task, then go to the TC bucket for it to time
