direct archive browse from Archive, as well as filter
or come up with some way to doc it
seeing <em type markup in the .csv --?
on chrome at least, we get the dreaded "unresponsive page" bullshit
need to do some setInterval squeegee thing or provide real feedback, or at least warn user
this would be some ajaxy thing showing progress
the iframe upload monitor thing is hella-slow on Airvault (20-30 sec) ???
Allow a basic query for letters exchanged between two people
add PersonRaw.SourceArchive list to MPerson
this is a bug since we have test data with "::" (I think)
the generated people.csv file is missing fields populated from
D'Alembert places have dest lat & lon for many places, but not showing up in DB
Attempting to merge 3 D'Alembert records results in an error. the alert "Operation in progress..." just never resolves. The error shows up only in the console.
getting undefined session running on Airvault (session used for progress reports)
saw some bad unicode on the mac export/upload people from D'Alembert -- but only in the PrimaryName column, not the MatchMPerson (was this uploaded by me on another machine?)
on home machine, Voltaire as Marie Arouet is not there
editInPlace is scary right now, does immediate db update -- should confirm changes
looking at DalembertPeopleTest.csv, why is "Tressan" flagged the first time but not the second?
the EE letters seem fine, but some of the D'Alembert letters do not have all the M fields filled in.
been doing parallel db uploads at home & airvault with same commit (95f7e) --
after uploading EELetter and EEPerson, uploaded DAlembert
home machine log goes up to 100 Places Incorporated; airvault says 200
think about whether we need MROFL Archive --
old mongo had nice date-parsing, so raw dates could populate BirthYear etc -- get that in
right now the main page has an iframe flooding the server with progress requests even when not doing anything
similar to how we did in ver 1
the people.csv produced after importing D'Almbert letters.csv has 2 rows with just "D'Alembert" as the name. First gets matched to Jean Le Rond d'Alembert. Second doesn't match for some reason.
can we use git or some other incremental backup tool to be able to revert database (plus copy offsite -- S3 etc)?
one reason: leading zero in session key -- so 012345 is queried as 12345
In the recent D'Alembert-EE Person name entity match attempt there were way too many missed. No match for Voltaire? Franklin? Vergennes? Something in that algorithm is just missing the big ones. Are we matching against aliases? (or don't we have any?)
the code that checks for MPerson and updates is slow and doesn't output its progress (I think in upload.py) api.py lines 103-119
