Doesn't make it more sense, to make a example of the 2D correlation instead of the 2D convolution?? Because for spatial filtering, mostly a correlation is used.
Also in the example of the 2D-Convolution the result isn't zero padded, so some coefficients are missing.

The given three formulas in the HSI -> RGB converting sections are just for the RG sector (see Book Digital Image Processing on page 411 and 412). Probably a 3x3 tabular would be helpful?!

Ich finde ein Zweispalten Layout einfacher zu lesen bei längeren Texten, jedoch ist der Abstand der Columns sehr klein, was es ein wenig unübersichtlich erscheinen lässt.
