Before we go live, I think it would be good to rename this to hsf-training-cicd-github-webpage. We have started this naming convention a while ago (but not all of the previous modules adhere to it), to make it easier to distinguish between auxiliary repositories and the "main" training page.

See hsf-training/hsf-training-cicd#39 (not clear if this lesson has the same problem)

E.g. setup:

git push -u origin master

Likely requires change to https://github.com/hsf-training/hsf-training-cms-analysis as well.

May not exist anymore.

Github has "draft" setting now, so we can simply remove this section

This issue concerns only "hsf-training-cicd" not "hsf-training-cicd-github". Will be discarded.

E.g. https://hsf-training.github.io/hsf-training-cicd-github/12-skim-milk/index.html#passing-data-between-two-jobs-in-a-workflow already uses v3 for download but is at v2 for upload.

This is in addition to #41 (which probably won't update the actions in the examples).

E.g. at https://hsf-training.github.io/hsf-training-cicd-github/08-adding-ci-to-your-code/index.html we should use

In lesson 8 and others should have a title like so:

Current Title: Exit (light) Codes -- what is meant by 'light' here? The word is not used in the episode except in the title.

In chapter 4, about YAML, lists and dicts are only illustrated without an explanation of the syntax.

Students must understand for example:

all members of a list are lines beginning at the same indentation level
starting with a "-" (a dash)
Space after the dash
etc.

https://hsf-training.github.io/hsf-training-cicd/03-understanding-yaml/index.html#anchors is absent in github tutorial.

More general question: how do we avoid divergence for these parallel episodes?

Github also allows for instance using the https (which might be simpler to setup)

Secondly, provide link on how to add ssh key or to use https.

Some more background:

• upload-artifact/download-artifact does work with act, but not when using a container

Suggestion would be to explicitly call out that upload/download requires to complete the rest of thee exercise on GitHub, and when using act ymmv.
