Hi there, long time no see.

I'm working on a project to allow the sale of digital downloads, to that end I've forked your project and made what I believe are some improvements.

I do have some uncertainty about where and how I should delineate the two concepts of

• associate files with a product
• the associated file is the product

I am leaning towards creating a separate django-shop companion application that allows for handling digital assets and the complex issue of providing access to those files.

However I think the scenarios where having a basic file fieldtype that can be hidden is should not easily be dismissed.
