Ive included the URLS needed for the missing apps with Logcats, Icons, Banners and i was wandering if you would be able to make launchers for them please

hi there, using your APK to show iPlayer, All4 etc.
Was working fine on Android 7. Now with the new Sony update to Oreo, after installing your APK only iPlayer is showing, while all the rest are not there...
Any chances you can have a look?

In MyApps->Add Apps if either ITV hub or all 4 are selected, they both get marked by tick but only the one selected gets added. You can't then add the other one as it believes it's all ready added and unselecting either deselects both.

All the other channels work but when it comes to ITV1 it says that its not available on my region, could you fix this asap as I'm trying to watch the euros 😅.

I really love the launchers. I believe I've found the correct URL that YouView would use on some Bravia models. There are some extra parameters available too

Tried all the shortcuts that was pre made and not working for this tv! has any one got instruction on how to use the app to make my own? or has any been made that will work with this tv?

I noticed some of the app icons are out-of-date as they have changed them: iPlayer, All 4 and ITV Hub. The others may be out-of-date as well, I just haven't checked them yet.

I wanted to update the icons and submit a PR, however, I wasn't sure where you got them from? I can get the square icon from Google Play. However, how did you get the banner icons (that are used on TV shelf)?

excuse me, if I'm doing something wrong, I'm new here. I have a Sony AF9 TV that I operate outside of the UK. I want to see the BBC and have therefore installed your BBC iplayer.apk v2.2.0 today. The installation went smoothly, but the app does not start. Do I have to install or consider something else? Please excuse me again if I ask in the wrong place, I have not found another way. I would be very grateful for your help.

Some of the apps wont open whilst recording. I think this is due to something in YouView that prevents the use of recording but I'm not sure why, doesn't make much sense. I wonder if there's a way to bypass this ?

Great work getting these apps but my postcode doesn't save on ITV Hub so it doesn't let me watch any ITV catch-up, only the others such as ITV2, 3, 4, Be I can watch as these are not regional.

I've come across what I think is a new issue. Since upgrading the OS on my Bravia, the Apps still launch, however I did have to reinstall iPlayer and All4.

The issue I have encountered is that the active App Name showing in the Home Assistant Media Player component is the com.sony.dtv.hbbtvplayer, not the name of the actual App I launched. This used to work fine previously so I suspect it's something changed in the new Android OS install. It would be great if it's something easy t ofix when you call the launcher as I have several HA automations that trigger depending on the App that's running.

Hi, really appreciate your work on this project. Just wondering if you have any idea as to why the My5 APK seems to install fine but when trying to run it I just get a fleeting message that says "errror".

Hi, I've sideloaded the v2.5 apks on my bravia but when trying to open any of them I get a toast saying "Loading, please wait" before encountering "An error has occurred. Please try again later.".

Have used two different file explorer programmes to see if changing installation method would impact (it does not). I don't have youview enabled as my aerial doesn't pick up channels on the tv, which is why I'm trying to use these launchers instead. Any suggestions?

Hi I have a Sony Bravia KD49XH9505 TV and disabled youview. The hoshsadiq All4 app installs and opens fine, however when you try to play content it just shows a description and nothing happens. I can navigate and browse programs, just not play anything, even though I'm signed in.

If I enable youview and go back to the All4 app, content plays fine. Something is still dependent on youview being enabled on my TV.

A similar thing was happening with iplayer, except it wouldn't even load without youview enabled. But I've found an Android TV apk for iplayer that works fine.

All other apps including itv player, stv and ukplay are all fine when youview is disabled. Issue appears to be just All4

I just installed the ITV hub on my Mi 4s TV, no issues until I try to open it. It closes all of a sudden after I open it.
I know maybe it’s not intended for other TVs other than Sony but as OS is the same I thought it should work.
I cannot find this app working anywhere else so any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, is it possible to look into this limitation again? I can attempt to supply logcat.

I believe the limitation is built in, ie you cannot record and watch catchup at the same time, it is not a fault with your apps, that's just the way it operates. Nevertheless would you be able to see if it's possible to record and watch catchup at the same time?

I installed the UKPlay launcher on my Sony KD-49XF9005. It opens, but after briefly showing the splash screen, hangs with a spinning blue circle.

It appears that UKTV now require you create an account and activate your TV using a code that’s displayed when opening the app. I’m guessing that is what’s going wrong.

I'm not sure if it's something you would be able to fix, but it would be great if you can!

Would be great, if you could keep the apps updated, as they are all outdated now.

Also, please can you use the default Youview app launcher icons as the current ones look ugly and outdated, also they are not full res.

I've got the UKTV apk from the 2.4.0 release installed on a KD-49X8309C. When watching a show, it will play the first ad roll, the video will play just fine, then when it goes to an ad break, the app will close to the home screen. Tried on my phone and there's no issues with the ads.

Installed the latest My5 app link apk, this opens an older version of My5 than the one that opens from within the Youview app.

It's no complaint, either app work fine.

These links are brilliant, it means all apps are available from the app drawer now, why Sony don't allow this by default is very annoying, so great work for providing these apks!
