When purchasing minutes, if you change the qty to >1 on PayPal, MajorLazer only credits you with 1 hour, while PayPal still charges you for multiple.

If we decide to proceed with giving Hive members a monthly allowance of time, this would:

• Automatically add the minutes to member accounts at the beginning of the month
• Remove any remaining amount at the end of the month (if we disallow rollover)

In order to transfer minutes w/o leaking everyone's email addresses we need to require unique usernames.

If you go to the "Edit User" ( http://lazer.hive13.org/admin/9/edit_user ) page for Dave Menninger, his name wraps down under the "Certified" checkbox.

This would allow people to keep track of things like:

• a link to a paypal payment / 'cash' / etc to help track additions of minutes
• what they used minutes for and how long something took to create
• what sorts of things people are making

Show how many minutes the laser has been used between two dates.

If you don't have a laser account when your hive payment goes through you won't get free minutes. You have to have the laser account first for free minutes to be credited.

The reason is because the free_minutes table is based on user id. Someone can't have a user id if they haven't signed up for a laser account. Therefore when the paypal script processes a payment it can't find a user id to put in the free_minutes table.

Only oddity that I can think of is my paypal credit card expired, so I had to resubscribe.

Lets say you have 50 hours worth of minutes, and you feel generous and want to give user X some of your time.

It would be nice if there was some built in way to move time from your account to another user's account.

I don't think this needs an explanation.

• admins could subscribe
• IRC bot could announce FIRED MAI LAZZOR
• etc

May want to provide different info depending on authentication?
