Plant a tree for each commit and pull request in GitHub, and help the world to shine green lights into space🌌🛰☄

This project is to encourage people to plant trees for a reason and and it shows an animation of how many trees you could have planted and how many you have planted. 🌴

Please feel free to contribute, any contibution for the development will be accecpted. Yes, even the typo fixes in the README (please don't😅) Also check the Templates folder for issue / PR templates

Idea

To make a website which gets the information of the GitHub user and creates some animation of growing trees and forest kinda things. And an aproximation of how many trees could a use have been planted, if they plant a tree for a PR or a commit.

Make the website look cool

Use your JS and CSS skills to make a perfect website for pLANTEr

  • Any JS is allowed
  • Any type of CSS allowed

Website folder conatins the website. If you can work with NodeJS please feel free to work with that too.

LOGO creation

A logo for this project would be good and also it will be useful in the website too,

Concept of this project will be in root of the project: README.md

LOGO can be consist of either the project name pLANTEr or just an vector graphics of any elements of nature

Please do make the README human readable form, I might have made crazy mistakes... So please forgive me🤐

  • Add some more websites to plant trees
  • Grammatical and syntax error fixes
  • Images, Animations.

Need Animations

Need animations in the website:
Animations should consist of:

  • Growing trees or plants
  • Forests
  • Greenish

And put in your craziness, we expect some craziness in every PR😁

Get info from GitHub

I have already tried to make use of GitHub API but I made a mess, unauthenticated API requests are limited to 60 requests per hour.
So optimization required
