hifi-amm's Issues

Replace the expected constants with dynamical computations

The current testing approach is to pre-compute both the inputs and the outputs. But this may lead us to fool ourselves when writing the test, believing that the produced result is correct when in fact it isn't. True, we can double-check on WolframAlpha, but mistakes can happen anyways.

A more robust approach would to be to dynamically compute the expected values using math.js, and make the pass whenever the difference between the expected value and the actual result is less than some pre-defined epsilon value.

Fix the pow tests

Since a002b2d, we began using prb-math v2, which, among other things, had changed the implementation for exp2.

The issue is that some tests don't pass anymore, because the pow function makes an internal call to exp2.
