It is the default behavior of pre-commit to run a hook across all stages when the stages property for a hook is not defined in .pre-commit-config.yaml, which is currently how the lint pre-commit hook is configured. We only need to lint the code once, and so we could simply have it run during the commit stage.

There currently exists an issue when attempting to run pre-commit system hooks on macOS. The issue can be triggered when attempting to run binaries that are only listed in ~/.zshrc, and which we currently encounter when running pre-commit system hooks that call any of the Foundry commands.

In order to mitigate this issue for the lint pre-commit system hook on macOS, we need to run source ~/.zshrc before executing make fmt-check.
