This game was made to raise awareness of dark patterns also known as deceptive design patterns. Dark Patterns are tricks used in websites and apps that make you do things that you didn't mean to, like buying or signing up for something. Our game will show how some of these dark patterns are used by UX designers.

• Get Laravel requirements (https://laravel.com/docs/9.x/deployment)
• Get Composer (https://getcomposer.org/Composer-Setup.exe)
• Clone repository
• Run composer install
• Copy the .env.example file to .env (cp .env.example .env)
• Edit the .env file to reflect your own database
• Run php artisan key:generate
• Run php artisan migrate
