The current state is set to the initial state after scene switching. This happens in each windows pc standalone build and sometimes even in the unity editor. Changing settings like "log to file" or "log to console" fixes this error in the editor, which is why i think it could be a problem of the execution order that is affected by the speed.
I have created a simple project to reproduce this error.

I think i might use this code. I was wondering if you still use it aswell in any projects or if you have moved on ever since? since the last commit was 2 years ago.

Also DOTS/ECS seems upcomming.
