it can be any timestamp, but the expectation is that users use the current time when the key was generated. Doesn't really matter though

I'm still confused by its role. Why not drop the timestamp entirely?

you probably can just drop it for OSS, dont think it will break anything

@macpie helped me debug and it was actually necessary afaict

There is some pattern matching going on in elexir that crashes if timestamp is not there
